St. Thomas, USVI

Our last few days on our vacation were spent in St. Thomas, the 'hub' of the U.S. Virgin Islands. Although beautiful, it was busy and we found the people to be less friendly than St. Croix or St. John. Still, we had an amazing time and did a lot of snorkeling here - there are some great reefs and on our last day we even saw a giant stingray!

Beautiful Magens Bay

Our last night in St. Thomas - with a beautiful sunset!

Nothing better than a gorgeous view, beautiful sunset, half price martinis and a fantastic seafood dinner to finish off our mini-getaway!

Jost Van Dyke (New Years Eve)

Jost Van Dyke, BVI
Voted #2 destination in the world for New Years Eve. We were so close anyway, we decided to check it out for ourselves.
Jost is a cute little island, with no more than 200 people living on it. We took a little speedboat over around 11am on the 31st, so we could spend some time exploring before the festivities started.

The 'main' road

Wild fruit grew everywhere here!

A little ruin off the side of the main road

Birthday/NYE Trip - St. John

St. John is the smallest U.S. Virgin Island..and also the most beautiful. We've heard its an outdoor enthusiast's paradise and we were on our way - for my 26th birthday!

Our friend Esmerelda that greeted us at breakfast :)

Can you say YUM!?

Loved how random donkeys just roamed the beaches!

Yay! Snorkel time!
